Joe Bearpaw

Joe Bearpaw, age 82, of Oak Grove, Mo., passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
He was born February 9, 1928, in Stilwell, Oklahoma the son of John and Martha Vann Bearpaw.
Mr. Bearpaw was an Army veteran, serving two tours of duty in the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the VFW and the Stanley Pack American Legion Post 499 of Blue Springs, Mo.
Mr. Bearpaw is survived by his loving wife, Lois Bearpaw and beloved dog Lily of the home; daughters, Brenda Meade, Oak Grove; Sharon Harris, Kansas City, Mo., and Marsha Frogge, Boynton Beach, Fla.; sons, Russell Moore, Camdenton, Mo. and Michael Moore, Stover, Mo., ten grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
In keeping with is wishes, he was cremated. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
