Jo Ann Dunn

Jo Ann Dunn, 78, of Pilot Grove, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. She was one of 4 daughters born in Alex, Oklahoma to Cecil and Dorothy Kilby.

Jo moved to Pilot Grove in 2005 from Merced, California where she lived, worked, and raised her family. She retired after 40 years of employment as a typesetter for the Merced Sun Star newspaper. She moved to central Missouri to near and more centrally located to her family.

She loved sewing, tatting, and quilting. She also enjoyed her computer where she could keep up with friends, family, and continually learning new things. She actively attended the Calvary Family Tabernacle in Otterville.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by sons Ricky Ashlock and his wife Jan of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; Will Ashlock of Pilot Grove; daughter Vicki De Anda of Atwater, California; grandchildren B.J., Anthony, Andre, Cherise, Cody, and Katie; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Phyliss, Joy Dell, and Mary Belle.

Funeral services for Jo Dunn will be 2 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Otterville with burial immediately following in the Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 PM prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
