Jimmie Guinn, Jr.

Jimmie Guinn Jr. age 75, of Ivy Bend passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at this home.
It was the 23rd day of August in 1946 when Jimmie and Beatrice Eads Guinn welcomed their baby boy into their home in Columbus, Mississippi.
On October 22, 1983, Jimmie was united in marriage to Judith Williams.
Jimmie served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam and is a recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired from the automotive industry after serving thirty years on the assembly line in St. Louis, Missouri. Since retirement, Jimmie has enjoyed living at the lake.
Jimmie will be missed by many. The family would like to say a special thanks to Val, Joyce and Jim, and Fran for all their help during hard times here and back and forth making many trips to the hospital.
Left to carry on his legacy are his wife of forty three happy years, Judy Guinn; two sons, Richard Guinn of Union, Missouri and Kenny Guinn and wife Shelly of Washington, Missouri; a stepson, Bill Bridgman and wife Jamie; four grandchildren; five step grandchildren; one sister, Betty Wagner of St. Clair, Missouri; one half sister, Virginia Rodgers; and a step sister Ruthie Bay of St. Clair, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and step dad, George Akin.
Jimmie requested to have no services. His final resting place will be in Midlawn Garden in Union, Missouri in the Garden of Devotion.
