Jerrold Scott Wilson

Jerrold Scott Wilson, age 51, of Stover passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Stover.

He was born September 3, 1966 in Boonville to Jim and Karen Fischer Wilson. Jim Wilson survives in Stover. Karen Young survives in Stover.  He was baptized September 25, 1966, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover and confirmed May 25, 1980, at Faith Lutheran Church in Stover.  The confirmation verse chosen was Revelations 2:10.

He was a 1984 graduate of Morgan Co R-1 High School.

He was united in marriage to Tammy Merriott and to this union two children were born.

Scott worked in road construction for Howard Construction in Kansas City and Bross Construction in Southern Missouri. He was a lifelong farmer and had a hand in helping his brother Jeff build houses.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time at the lake.  He enjoyed traveling and visited many states.  Scott will always be remembered for his love of music.

Along with his parents he is survived by one son, Corben Wilson of Stover; one daughter, Corin Wilson of Stover; two brothers, James and Jeff Wilson both of Stover; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Melanie and Mark Sherman of Laurie, Monica and Johnny Dake and Melissa and Rusty Brown all of Stover; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial Services will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with Pastor John Wagner officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date and will be private.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.

Honorary bearers are Jamie Brown, Jessica Houk, Tyler Wilson, Kristin Wilson, Madisen Sherman, Weston Dake, Whitney Dake, and Makayla Brown.
