Jeffrey Gayle Renken

November 10, 1968 — June 29, 2016

Jeffrey Gayle Renken, age 47, of Clarksburg, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at University Hospital in Columbia.
He was born November 10, 1968, in Jefferson City, a son of William Gayle and Janet Scott Renken.
Jeff was a graduate of Jamestown C-I High School and Linn State Technical College, receiving his two year Technical degree in diesel mechanics.
He worked as a mechanic with various businesses in the Jefferson City area for many years.
He was a gifted mechanic, showing his talent at an early age by fixing the bus on his senior trip after it broke down. He was also an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and being on the farm.
He enjoyed attending the services at Clarksburg Baptist Church and the Cowboy Church at Tipton.
Survivors include his parents, Gayle and Janet Renken of Centertown; longtime companion, Lynn Reed of Clarksburg; one son, Cody Renken of Ashland; one daughter, Maria Renken of Jefferson City; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jill and J.D. Delgado of Centertown and Jennifer and Rick Herndon of Jamestown; two nieces, Ashley Frazier and Sarah Dwiggins, a nephew, Matthew Herndon, along with other relatives and friends.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville with Rev. Paul Woods officiating. Interment will be in the New Hope Cemetery in Marion.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville.
