Janice Marie Hansen

Janice Marie Hansen, age 68, of Versailles, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018, following a sudden illness.

She was born December 9, 1949, in Orange, California, a daughter of Virgil T. and Marie Stidham Short, who preceded her in death.

On January 13, 1977, Janice was united in marriage to Rick Hansen who survives at their home.

She was a graduate of Mountain View High School in the state of California.

Janice worked at Gates in Versailles, Sun and Fun in Laurie and retired from Sun Security Bank in Gravois Mills.

Janice never met a stranger and loved to shop.

In addition to her husband of 41 years, Janice is survived by a daughter Melanie Curry of Sedalia and a grandson, Dylan Clark, along with other relatives and friends.

In keeping with her wishes she was cremated and no services are planned.
