Jane York

Jane Rose York, age 94, of St. Louis passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Mary Queen & Mother Center in St. Louis.
She was born July 27, 1923 in St. Louis, daughter of Francis and May Martin Sutter. On December 31, 1941, she was united in marriage to Clifford York, who preceded her in death on March 16, 2001.
Jane kept busy as a homemaker taking care of her husband and her daughter, Carolyn.
She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary and the Girl Scouts of America.
She enjoyed spending time down at her cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks and loved the time she got to spend with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Jane is survived by two grandsons, William C Richie III and wife Bridget of Wildwood and Robert C. Richie and wife Amy of Pacific; nine great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; along with many relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn J. and William C. Richie Jr.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover. Inurnment will be in the Stover Cemetery.
