Jack E. Parson

Jack E. Parson, 77, of Versailles, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Lak Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

He was born on August 1, 1944, the only child of Everett and Thelma Parson.  On August 6, 1965, in St. Joseph, MO, he married Judith K. Deshon who preceded him in death on March 10, 2021.

Jack honorably served in the United States Air Force.  After serving in the Air Force, he worked for Werner’s as a shoe salesman for 30 years.  After working at Werner’s Jack worked for Brown Shoe Fit until his retirement.

He was a member of Heroes for Heroes in St. Joseph.  Jack enjoyed mowing his yard, his dogs Mookie and Hooch, and watching baseball and football.

Survivors include two sons, Brian Parson and his wife Rachel of Versailles, Jason Parson and his wife Sherri of St. Joseph; four grandchildren, Jordan, Shana, Dominique, and Wesley; five great-grandchildren, Hunter, Brody, Luke, Kaiden, and Israel.

Jack was preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife Judy.

Jack’s wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
