It was an early Christmas at the Dale house in 1983; Tom and Lora welcomed their second son on December 20 and named him Isaiah Ryan. Big brother Jeremiah couldn’t wait to begin sharing adventures with Isaiah and before long the two boys began exploring the great outdoors together.
He was a 2002 graduate of Stover High School, where he played sports and developed lifelong friendships. As was typical for many of the boys in Stover, Isaiah developed a love of hunting and looked forward to deer season and most of all turkey season, which he was truly passionate about. When he wasn’t looking for that elusive deer or turkey, you could find him in the woods hunting mushrooms or sitting on the dock fishing.
He loved being with his friends and exploring the gravel roads in the area became a favorite pastime. Time spent at the local creek or just hanging out with his family was something he truly enjoyed. If you stopped by the house you would find him watching a college basketball game, especially if the Duke Blue Devils were playing or cheering on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs, win or lose, Isaiah remained a faithful fan.
He worked alongside his parents at their business, NuStyle Quilt Shop located in Stover, where he kept the behind-the-scenes operations of the store running.
Isaiah was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Versailles; which is the church of his mother and maternal grandparents.
Isaiah’s greatest traits were his smile and the kindness that he showed to everyone he met. It was as if he was an “old soul” in a young man’s body. He was keenly aware of those around him and would often take time to purchase a flower to give or sit with someone who was by themselves. He understood the importance of making that connection and wasn’t afraid to reach out to those in need.
Early Sunday morning, February 7, 2021, Isaiah was called home, his battle on this earth was over and we now draw strength in the promise of eternal life that was given to him so many years ago.
Isaiah will forever be remembered by his parents, Tom and Lora Williams Dale of Stover; his brother and sister-in-law, Jeremiah and Missy Dale of Dexter, his nieces, Gracie and Miah Dale, his uncle and aunt, Kenny and Beth Dale of Stover; his aunt and uncle, Rita and Turner Bond of Columbia; his aunt and uncle Billie and Randy Fischer of Boonville; his cousins and their families, Stephanie Cochran, Gregg (Sharon) Sidebottom, Asher (Anna) Dale, Jesse (Katie) Dale, Gabriel (Kristen) Fischer, Jordan Fischer, Bridgett (Scottie) Reynolds and Brittany (Kyle) Snoddy, along with other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Melvin Dale and LeAnn Dale and his maternal grandparents, Lee and Ruth Williams.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 13, at the First Assembly of God Church in Versailles.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 13, at the First Assembly of God Church in Versailles with Rev. Randy Fischer, Pastor Jeremiah Dale and Rev. Blake Tiemann officiating.
