Helena Marriott

Helena Marriott, age 76, of Versailles passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the Golden Age Living Center.
It was the 5th day of February in 1946, when Wilfred David and Irene Hitchcock Tremblay welcomed their daughter, Helena Carolyn Lula, into their home in Georgetown, Massachusetts.
Helena married David Jackson, Sr. and to this union they had four children, David Jr., Curtis, Dannette, and Corinne.
In 1998 in Stover, Helena was united in marriage to William "Bill" Marriott, who preceded her in death on June 24, 2018.
Helena worked as a housekeeper and was an assistant manager at Wal-Mart for seven years.
Always one to stay busy, she liked to tend her flowers in her gardens, feed geese, go to thrift stores and flea markets, and repurpose any goodies she found. She loved her dogs to the point of feeding them fresh rotisery chicken. Her greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with her family. She loved family gatherings and being able to cook for all of her family.
Left to carry on her legacy are her sons and daughters-in-law, David Jr. and Beverly Jackson of Stover and Curtis and Jennifer Jackson of Laurie; two daughters, Dannette Jackson of Kansas City and Corinne J. Schneider and husband David of Stover; fifteen grandchildren, Tiffinay, Jake, Justin, Josh, Josie, Allen, Anthony, David, Tammy, Sara, Emma, Jamie, Jessica, Seth, and Zachary; too many great grandchildren to keep track of; one sister, Cheryl Griswald of Baltimore, Maryland; along with other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, David Sr., and Bill; she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Trembley.
In keeping with Helena's wishes, she will be cremated. Services will be private at a later date.
