Grace Martha Whittle

Grace Martha Whittle, age 51, of Versailles died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at her home.
She was born February 1, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a daughter of Harry "Bud" and Margaret "Marj" Guttenburg Jericho. On June 18, 1977, Grace was united in marriage to Terry L. Whittle in Imperial Beach, California.
She had worked as an apartment manager with her husband in San Diego, California. Grace and Terry traveled to Mississippi for FEMA to assist with the clean up of hurricane Katrina.
Grace loved to fish, camp out and was a wonderful cook. Her greatest enjoyment came from the time she could spend with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Terry L. Whittle, Sr., of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry, Jr., and Stephanie Whittle of Versailles; grandchildren, Shian Grace, TraLee and Gage Whittle, two sisters, Marj Tremble of Warmster, Pennsylvania and Ellen Zollizzey of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, two sisters-in-law, Vicky Whittle of Hermitage and Reta Fields of Barnett, also several nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Bobby Poore, Jackie Jericho and Buddy Jericho.
Grave side services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 11, at the Stover Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Barker officiating. The recorded selections of "Daddy's Hand's" and "Wings of an Angel" will be played. Interment will follow in the Stover Cemetery with Jeff Edgar, Matt Whittle, Gary Whittle, Cody Whittle, Steve Lewis and Travis Edgar serving as casketbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 11, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover.
