Gina Lea Marler, 66, of St. Louis passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO.
Gina was born on May 25, 1960, in Topeka, KS, a daughter of Ronald Lowell and Carmen Lea (Hutson) Marler.
Gina was a faithful member of Kirkwood Baptist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and especially enjoyed playing cards, attending bingo games, and spending time outdoors, where she loved watching the wildlife and appreciating the beauty of nature.
More than anything, Gina cherished the time she spent with those she loved. She treasured the friendships she built over the years and always looked forward to making memories with her niece and nephew. Holiday gatherings held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in celebrating with family and friends, creating traditions and moments that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Survivors include one sister, Kelly Francis; one niece, Allea Francis; and one nephew, Jacob Francis and his wife Alli.
Gina was preceded in death by both of her parents; and her longtime partner, Randy Bowles.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:00 am at Oak Hill Cemetery, 10301 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Memorial contributions are suggested to Myasthenia Gravis Foundation (https://myasthenia.org) or One Tree Planted (https://onetreeplanted.org).
