Gerald Howard Jennison

Gerald Howard Jennison went home to be with his Lord on March 26, 2017 from his residence in Columbia, Missouri. Jerry was born November 9, 1935 to E. Louise and Freaman Jennison in Latham, Missouri.

Jerry served in the US Army from 1960 to 1964 stationed most of that time in Germany and while in Europe he traveled extensively.

When he returned to the states Jerry graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg later earning his CPA. He used his education working many years for MFA in Columbia. He also worked at Wichita Bank for Co-op's as well as Goodland Co-op in Goodland, Kansas. After his retirement he was a driver for D&H Drugstores in Columbia.

Jerry participated in overseas volunteer work, teaching accounting classes in Moldova, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine. He was an active member of Grace Bible Church for many years. He was also a member of Gideon's International and was past president of the Columbia Camp. Another personal mission of Jerry's was delivering Meals on Wheels in Columbia, which he did for years.

Preceding Jerry in death were his parents; his brothers Jim and Dean Jennison.

Those surviving Jerry are half-sister Mary Ann Cox and her husband Bob of Overland Park, Kansas; 2 nieces; 3 nephews; and many, many dear friends.

Funeral services for Gerald Howard Jennison will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton, Missouri with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM prior to the service.

Memorial donations suggested to Gideon's International and Grace Bible Church.
