Gary Lee Burch

Gary Lee Burch, 71, of Tipton, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026, at his home.

Gary was born on March 11, 1955, in Kansas City, Kansas, a son of David Arnold, Sr. and Barbara (Schultz) Burch. He grew up in the Kansas City area and was a proud graduate of Turner High School.

Gary dedicated many years of his life to his work with DHL, where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic. On December 24, 2001, in Lebanon, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Charolette Cornelison. She preceded him in death on February 17, 2018, and Gary cherished the years they shared together.

He was a member of the Shriners in Springfield, Missouri, and took pride in his involvement with the organization. In his free time, Gary enjoyed the outdoors, especially deer hunting, and also liked trying his luck at the casino. He appreciated the simple pleasures in life and the time spent doing the things he loved.

Survivors include two sons, Billy Joe Burch (fiancé Roxy) of Texas, Mickey Lee Burch (fiancé Shanna) of Tipton; one daughter, Jacqueline Renae Burch of Kanas City, KS; one stepdaughter, Samantha Nolan of Kansas City, KS; four grandchildren, Brooklyn Burch, Kayden Drake, Peyton Burch, and Erik Kuester.

In addition to both of his parents and his wife Gary was preceded in death by three brothers, David Burch, John Burch, Floyd Burch; and one sister, Sharon Crow.

Gary’s wishes were to be cremated, and no services are scheduled at this time.
