Freida A. Riggin

Freida A. Riggin, age 96, passed away on August 5, 2019 at her place of residence in Blue Springs, MO.

She was born to Warden Howard and Odessa Pryor on May 12, 1923 close to Versailles, MO.

Freida is survived by her sister, Fay Turpin Downey of Hallsville, MO; a daughter, Kim Carlsberg; three grandchildren, Alanda Riggin, Clint Riggin, and Jerod Riggin; two great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Freida was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Riggin; two sons, Brad and Chet Riggin; five brothers, Cecil, Jack, Carl and Paul Howard and Phil Turpin; and two sisters, Ethel Branstetter and Lorene Elder. A small graveside memorial will be held at Versailles Cemetery in the near future. Freida requested memorials be made to the Disabled American Veterans organization.
