Esther Rose Lydia Gehrken

Esther Rose Lydia Gehrken, age 85, lifelong resident of Stover, died Friday, October 20, 2009, at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover.
She was born October 6, 1924, in Stover, a daughter of Anton and Emma Viebrock Gehrken. She was baptized October 9, 1924, by Rev. Daniel Dietz and confirmed August 7, 1938, at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Pyrmont by Rev. E.O. Baack.
Esther worked for various families in the Stover community, doing housekeeping and other small jobs.
She was a lifetime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church at Pyrmont.
She is survived by one niece, Mary Ann Oelrichs and husband Melvin of Mora; a great niece, Debbie Dieckman and husband Roger, a great-great nephew, Nicholas Dieckman, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Edna Stucker.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 4, at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Pyrmont with Rev. Carl Gauck officiating. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Pyrmont.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the church.
