Ernesteen Lois Fowler

Ernesteen Lois Fowler, 85, formerly of Tipton, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Boone Hospital in Columbia. She was one of 4 daughters born to Perry and Alma Brown in Okema, Oklahoma.

Ernesteen and her husband Phill lived in Tipton for many years after he retired from the military. She was always active and energetic working at the Biltwell Pants factory, at Fastco, and helping with daycare. She moved to Columbia in 2007 to be near family. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and watching her grandchildren. They had lived in England for 4 years and during that time she developed an appreciation for history and antiques. She was a member of the Assembly of God in Tipton.

Ernesteen was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister Christeen Adams; her husband Phill in 2002; and daughter-in-law Donna Fowler.

She is survived by sons Dewayne Fowler of Berryton, Kansas, David Fowler of Plano, Texas, Doug Fowler and his wife Seneva of Jefferson City, Dan Fowler and his wife Rebecca of Columbia; grandchildren Justin and Jordan Fowler, Molly Peoples, Daniel and Drew Fowler, Nikolas and Emerson Fowler; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Delean Bailey of Yuba City, California and Yovine Uhles of Arizona; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton, Missouri with burial following at the Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
