Emmarie Brueckner Kempf

Emmarie Brueckner Kempf, age 85 of Pilot Grove, Missouri passed away peacefully March 19, 2018 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Missouri.

Emmarie was born October 3, 1932 to Victor and Pauline Brueckner. On April 24, 1954 she married Louis J. Kempf. Jr. and for 28 years they shared a life that included raising three children. L.J. Kempf. Jr. passed away May 18, 1982.

Prior to retirement in 1998, Emmarie worked in various factories in Boonville and Tipton, Missouri. Her favorite pastimes were crocheting, playing pitch and also working on word search books.

Emmarie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters Louise, Lola and Linda.

Surviving Emmarie Kempf are her three children Joyce Kempf of Pilot Grove, Steven Kempf and his wife Eula Ann of Franklin, Missouri and Elaine Kempf of Pilot Grove; her brother Robert Brueckner and his wife Betty of Boonville, Missouri and her sister Thelma Gerke, also of Boonville, Missouri.

Funeral services for Emmarie Kempf will be held at 11:00 A.M., March 21, 2018 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove, Missouri with burial immediately following at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Missouri. A visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. prior to the funeral service.
