She found joy in the simple things, sewing, gardening, going to garage sales, her fur babies, the outdoors, and spending time with family. She loved watching birds and faithfully put up her hummingbird feeders each year. Elaine enjoyed spending all of her time supporting her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandson. She treasured family time; the stories, food, laughter, and the time spent together.
Elaine is survived by her two children: Troy (Vicki Wood) Marriott of Stover and Lynette (Tim) Beydler of Smithton; her grandchildren, Wade (Shania Flom) Bellis of Stover and Jenna (Brayden Morrison) Bellis of Versailles; step grandson Ian Beydler; her great-grandson, Beau Morrison; her three brothers, David Tagtmeyer of Sedalia, Virgil (Tanja) Tagtmeyer, of Sedalia and Cletus (Carol) Tagtmeyer of Smithton. Those who knew Elaine will remember her for her steadfast faith, her gentle spirit, the powerful way she loved those around her, and her homemade sweet rice. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her influence and the love she cultivated remain woven into the lives she touched.
