Edward Allen Kline

Edward Allen Kline, age 69, of Stover, died Sunday, January 18, 2009, at his home.
He was born December 30, 1939, in Lewiston, Idaho, a son of James Allen and Beatrice Leona Potter Kline.
Ed was a Marine Corps veteran, serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired from active duty after 17 years of service to his country. Following his retirement he became an over-the-road truck driver until his health forced him to retire.
He had been on the rodeo circuit, riding broncos. He enjoyed being outdoors where he could go camping and fly-fishing. Ed also kept busy with leather-working, making billfolds and other items. He was a member of the Gold Prospectors of America.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Leona and Rick Everhart of Stover; Carol and Norm Howsen of Everett, Washington and Sandra and Benari Burroughs of Denver, Colorado; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Rudy Moniallas of Seattle, Washington; Robert Kline of Everett, Washington and James Edward and Cecilia Kline of Arlington, Washington; one sister, Edna; seventeen grandchildren, Josephine, Tina, Becky, Rudy, Jr., Tesse Ann, Scott, Erin, Steven, Marissa, Nicholas, Kara, Christopher, Crystal, Cayla, Rickey, Jr., Helene and Sophia, seven great grandchildren, also other relatives and friends.
In keeping with Ed's wishes, he was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 24, in the Franklin Family Cemetery at Clearwater in Little Buffalo Cove south of Stover. Contributions are suggested to the Ed Kline Memorial Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover.
