Edrie May Campbell

Edrie May Campbell, age 80, of Jefferson City, died Friday, November 16, 2007, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born January 8, 1927, in Russellville, a daughter of Carl and Sadie Campbell Scrivner. She married Charles Abraham Campbell on October 10, 1949, and he survives at their home.
Through her years of employment she worked for the Missouri State Chamber of Commerce and the American Legion.
She also served as treasurer for her Jefferson City high school graduating class reunions until a few years ago.
Edrie delighted in sewing and going to craft shows. She was very active in 4-H with her children and was a 4-H leader. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and worked with them teaching crafts. She sewed and made many professional looking clothes for all her kids.
She was a good homemaker and excellent companion to her husband Charles. Her blackberry cobbler was always a favorite at the family gatherings. She also loved to fish.
In addition to her husband of 58 years, she is survived by two children, Joy Rybak and husband Frank and Chuck Campbell and wife Terry all of Jefferson City; one sister, Nelda Hutinger of Centertown; four grandchildren, Scott Rybak, Erika Blanco, Joe Lopez and Sade Campbell, eight grandchildren, Tim Murray, Jason Blanco, Sylvia Blanco, David Blanco, Brent Blanco, Isaac Lopez, Samuel Lopez and Amanda Rybak, also other relatives and friends.
Edrie was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Peggy Ann Armstrong.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 19,
at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville with Pastor Van Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery southeast of Russellville.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 19, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Life Outreach International.
