Edna Anna Stucker

Edna Anna Stucker, age 91, of Stover, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp.
She was born January 29, 1917, in Stover, a daughter of Anton and Emma Viebrock Gehrken, both deceased. She was baptized February 11, 1917, and confirmed March 21, 1931, at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Pyrmont. The confirmation verse chosen was Jeremiah 31:3, "The Lord appeared to him from afar. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you."
On October 9, 1938, Edna married Herbert Stucker at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Pyrmont and he preceded her in death October 31, 1999.
She was a homemaker. Edna also helped her husband on the farm where they had a dairy and also raised turkeys.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting deer and turkey, shooting her last turkey when she was 89 years old.
Edna was a lifelong, faithful member of the Trinity Lutheran Church at Pyrmont.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Melvin Oelrichs of Mora; one sister, Esther Gehrken of Stover; a granddaughter, Debbie Dieckman and husband Roger of Mora, a great grandson, Nicholas Dieckman, also other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, March 11, at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Pyrmont with Pastor Paul Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Pyrmont.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, March 10, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover, with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Benton County Hospice or the Trinity Lutheran Church at Pyrmont.
