Dustin Howard Haight

Dustin Howard Haight, age 39, of Eldon, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 10, 2019, at his home.

He was born April 1, 1980 in Jefferson City, a son of Richard Gene Haight and Susan Gale Hickey.

At the time of his death he was employed as a meat cutter with Save-A-Lot in Versailles.

Dustin enjoyed being outdoors and working on and driving fast cars.  He had a creative side and was very artistic.  He also had a soft spot for animals, mainly dogs and especially his two best buddies, Bear and Sadie.

Survivors include his mother, Susan Atwell of Eldon; his fiancée, Elizabeth Hamm of Eldon; his grandmother, Marian Doyel of Fortuna; a brother, Mark William “Will” Atwell and fiancee’ Amber Pickering of Gardner, Kansas; an uncle, Paul Hickey of Barnett; two nieces Bailey and Brielle Atwell, along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Haight, grandfather, Howard Hickey and son, Hayden Haight.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Versailles.
