Donna Louise Patterson

Donna Louise Patterson, 81, of Pilot Grove, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017, at her grandson’s home in Boonville after sharing family Christmas with the people she loved the most. She was one of 11 children born to Otto Ervin and Mary Catherine Scheidt Bader in Pilot Grove.

Donna was a lifelong resident of Pilot Grove. She married Frank Patterson on February 20, 1954, celebrating 36 years of marriage before his passing on August 15, 1990. Donna was a member of the Pilot Grove Red Hat Society and the Altar Sodality of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was an avid sports fan attending her grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s athletic events. She was a great seamstress and loved working creatively with floral arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Steve Patterson; daughter Peggy Webster; granddaughter Sonya Patterson Grimm; brothers Kenny, Jerome and Billy Bader; sister Elaine Thurman.

Donna is survived by daughter Karen Hocker and her husband Thomas of Moberly; grandchildren Travis Hundley and his wife Wendy, Michelle Bishop and her husband Wayne, Jason Hundley and his wife Melissa, Ashley Webster, Kyle Webster, Dustin Patterson; 14 great-grandchildren; brother Robert Bader and his wife Sherry, Mike Bader and his wife Debby; sisters Mary Maude Meisenheimer, Janice Aydelott and her husband Tom, Carol Porras and her husband Richard, Alice Mayfield.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 22. 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove with burial following in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday at the church with Rosary beginning at 4:30.
