Donna M. Ellebracht

Donna Marie (Meyer) Ellebracht of Lee’s Summit, MO, formerly of Otterville, MO, peacefully passed away February 21, 2022 in Columbia, MO surrounded by her loving family.

Donna was born September 28, 1953 in Buffalo, WY to Margie and Otto Meyer. She was wed June 30, 1979 to Vince Ellebracht (had to be a June bride!) and went on to successfully raise four children.

Donna is survived by her husband, Vince, two daughters, Bridget (Ellebracht) Pounds and Lily Ellebracht, along with her two grandchildren, Ben Carlyle-Ellebracht and Aurora Pounds. She will also be greatly missed by her siblings Lee Meyer, Martha Radcliffe, Larry Meyer, Ronnie (Chip) Meyer, Johnny Meyer, Shirley (Meyer) Ellebracht and Linda Nau as well as the numerous nieces and nephews that she left behind.

Donna loved travelling and loved the ocean, either from the beach or the boat. She collected rocks (and shells!) from all over the United States and abroad. She also loved her family and friends and touched the lives of many people. She was a best friend, a therapist, a confidant and the person you would call if you wanted to have fun. She had incredible patience and always had something to talk about but was ready to listen at the drop of a hat.

Donna was preceded in death by her children Walter, Anna and LG Ellebracht, her mother, Margie Meyer, and her brother, Charlie Meyer.

The visitation will be Saturday, February 26, 2022 beginning at 9:00am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lee’s Summit, MO. The Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 am and the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am.  A celebration of life will start in Otterville, MO at 4:00 pm at the City Hall building.

Flowers will be accepted by Holy Spirit Catholic Church during business hours. Memorial contributions are suggested to Holy Spirit Catholic Church in care of CIS El Salvador Education Ministry.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home, Otterville, MO.
