Donald Wayne Lachner

Donald Wayne Lachner, age 68, of Tipton, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 with friends at his side at Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Donald was born to Tom Ray and Artha Lee Lachner August 27, 1950 in California, Missouri. He spent most of his life in the Tipton area, graduating from Tipton High School and also attended a trade school for an additional two years.

Donald served his country in the US Army for two years and then served in the US Air Force as a Staff Sergeant for 7 years. He was retired from MO State Patrol Water Division.

He was fond of bluegrass music, enjoyed Motor Home Resorts, hunting and fishing. His best buddy Duke, his dog, will be joining him in life ever after.

Those preceding Donald W. Lachner in death were his parents; and brother James Ray Lachner.

Donald is survived by loving friends that will miss him greatly.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton with interment immediately following in Moreau Cemetery. An informal gathering of Donald’s friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service also at the funeral home.
