Dolores Marriott

Dolores "Dee" Eileen Marriott, age 75, of Gravois Mills, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the Golden Age Living Center.

Dee was born on February 4, 1950, in Oak Park, Illinois, to Lawrence and Frances Eileen (Karl) Weber. She was a proud graduate of Trinity High School in Oak Park.

Dee spent many years as a department manager at Walmart in Versailles. Later, she worked at the Dummy Bar and Gravois Market, where she enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the chance to stay close to what she loved most - the water.

Her happiest moments were spent boating on the Lake of the Ozarks, her true happy place. Dee also had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved dog, Hailey. She was an avid plant enthusiast with an expansive collection she tended to with care. Dee cherished time with her friends, especially on trips that always seemed to center around the water. She also loved camping, floating, and being in nature. Above all, Dee treasured the time she spent with her daughter, Traci.

She is survived by her daughter, Traci Marriott of Stover; her cherished granddogs, Karly and Kye; three sisters: Valerie Bloess and husband Steve of Sedalia, Karen Burr of Olathe, Kansas, and Kathy Metcalf and husband Mark of Sunrise Beach; along with several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Larry Weber, and her sister Mary Ann Reyburn.

In accordance with her wishes, Dee was cremated. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
