Diane Rose Harris

Diane Rose Harris age 56 of Versailles died Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover.
She was born September 1, 1951, in Decatur, Indiana, a daughter of Phillip and Dorothy Briar Croft, who survive in Madrid, Iowa. On March 29, 1969, in Boone, Iowa, Diane married Jerry Harris and he survives at their home.
She was employed as the Department Manager in Women's Apparel for Wal-Mart in Versailles until suddenly becoming ill last April.
Before moving to mid-Missouri, Diane was a member of the Bethel Church in Boone, Iowa, where she taught Sunday school. She had been a member of the Mt. Herman Church near Sedalia and was currently a member of the Calvary Baptist Church west of Versailles.
She enjoyed crocheting, reading, cross-stitch, knitting, and nature walks.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by one son, Jeremy Wayne Harris and wife Kendra of Sedalia; one daughter, Bonnie Sue Barker of Buchanan; one brother, David Croft and wife Linda of Pella, Iowa; two sisters, Barb Jeffers of Boone, Iowa and Jill Conrad and husband Greg of Ogden, Iowa; four grandchildren, Tommy, Kelly, and Jonathan Harris and Anna Rose Barker, also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 16, at the Calvary Baptist Church west of Versailles with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 16, at the Mt. Herman Cemetery north of Sedalia.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 15, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles.
