Derek Wayne Santana, 51, of Tipton, MO, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, MO.
He was born March 16, 1970, in Plattsburgh, NY to Jose Antonio and Guadalupe (Ramos) Santana, who preceded him in death.
He attended Farmingdale Community College in Long Island, NY. Derek enjoyed reading, coloring, hiking in state parks, spending time in nature, and viewing wildlife. He was of the Catholic faith.
Derek is survived by his brother, Timothy Santana of San Antonio, TX; his uncle Ben Santana and aunt Gerry Santana; and his cousins.
No public services are planned.
Derek’s care has been entrusted to Meisenheimer Funeral Home, Tipton, MO
