Delmar Joseph Fassler

Delmar Joseph Fassler, 70, of Tipton, Missouri passed away at his residence with his family at his side after a long illness. He was born in Tipton a son of John and Dora E. Fassler.

Delmar was a graduate of Tipton High School Class of 1969. He was a longtime employee of Weber Shoe Manufacturing which became Striderite and later Orvis Manufacturing, working at the Tipton plant.

He and Deborah were married July 7, 1978 and celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary this past summer.

Delmar was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Charlyn Wiecken.

Delmar is survived by his wife Debbie of the home; daughter Crystal Barbour and Robert of Versailles; son Aaron Fassler and Darla of Tipton; granddaughters Aleesha Robertson, Merissa Young and Kaila, Daneeka Butterfield, Devora Barbour, Faith Fassler; grandson Derek Fassler; great-grandchildren Ariel, Cecil, Maverick, Santanna-Rose; sisters Mary Williamson and Stella Edwards both of Tipton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 23,2019 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Tipton followed by gravesite committal at St. Andrew Cemetery.
