Deborah Susan Offield

March 2, 1954 — November 1, 2018

Deborah Susan Offield, age 64, of Stover, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, November 1, 2018, at her home.

She was born March 2, 1954, in Kansas City, a daughter of Earl and Norma J. Dickerson Davis.  On August 31, 1971, in Kansas City, Debbie married her high school sweetheart, Rodney Offield, who survives at their home.

Debbie was a homemaker, busy raising five children and helping her husband on their home place.

She looked forward to spending time in the garden and creating meals for her family.  She also spent time finding different types of crosses and over the years collected a variety of shapes and sizes.  She was a huge football fan and could be found alongside her husband and sons cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. Her greatest enjoyment came from the time she could spend with her family, especially her grandkids.

In addition to her husband of 47 years, she is survived by five children, Rodney Offield Jr. and wife Nikie of Green Bay, Wisconsin; Lisa Renee Offield Mergner and husband Brett of Lee’s Summit; Dallas Earl Offield and wife Heather of Stover; Dusty Ray Offield and wife Danielle of Versailles and Dillon Matthew Offield and wife Krystal of Stover; seven grandchildren, Tyler and Zachary Offield, Destiny Harrington, Chloe Caselman, Dallas Jr. and Dean Offield and Maverick Offield; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Jim Pence.

In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated.  Private services will be held at a later date.
