Deborah Lynn Diefendorf

Deborah Lynn Diefendorf, 74, of Otterville, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026, at her home.

Debbie was born on February 23, 1952, in Sedalia, Missouri, a daughter of Gene Gammage and Norma Fiedler.

She attended State Fair Community College in Sedalia, where she earned her associate degree in agriculture. On June 23, 1990, in Otterville, Missouri, she married Keith Deifendorf, who preceded her in death.

Debbie enjoyed sewing and tending to her garden. She had a special talent for making things by hand and took great joy in creating gifts for her family, especially to celebrate new births and at Christmas time. The time and care she put into each gift was a reflection of the love she had for those closest to her.

Debbie also loved her dogs, who were faithful companions throughout the years. Above all else, her greatest joy came from her family. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and treasured every opportunity to spend time together. Whether celebrating holidays, marking special occasions, or simply enjoying one another's company, family time held a special place in Debbie's heart.

Survivors include two sons, David Schrills of Otterville, MO, Dakota Diefendorf of Washington; one daughter, Denise Schrills of Sedalia; two step-children, Frank Diefendorf of Kansas, and Beth Branch (William) of California, MO; 11 grandchildren, Dennis Todd, Sara Wright (Matt), Brittany Hogg, Victoria Schrills, James Hogg, Hanna Schrills, Chance Brance, Skyler Branch, Kalynn Harkins, Erica Harkins, and Lexi Hall; four great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Matthew, Brylee, and Peyton.

Debbie was preceded in death by both of her parents and her husband.

There are no services planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove, MO.
