David Bennett

David Bennett, age 65, of Eldon passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at his home.
It was on the 10th of June in 1956 when Rex J. and Eva A. Anderson Bennett welcomed their baby boy, David James into their home in Denver, Colorado.
David worked as a social worker for a private health care facility.
He was united in marriage to Una Bennett and from this union he had five children, Donald, Mikel, Amanda, Elizabeth, and Rebecca.
David liked to cook, go fishing, help people, and watch black and white TV shows. He was always fiddling with things to fix them, everything from cars to computers. His greatest enjoyment came from time spent with his family and watching his grandkids.
He is survived by four of his children, Donald Dickey of Arma, Kansas, Mikel Bennett of Tuscumbia, Amanda Bennett of Billings, Montana, and Rebecca Cummins of Eldon; two brothers, Robert Bennett of Deepwater and Jon Bennett of Orange, California; two nieces, Jackie Bennett of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Sara Bennett of Pittsburg, Kansas; along with several grandchildren.
Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth Bennett.
In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated. No services are planned at this time.
