Daniel Layne Fenton, age 69, of Boonville, MO, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024, at his home.

Daniel was born December 15, 1954, in Boonville, MO, a son of Emmitte and Mary Anne (Kosfeld) Fenton.

He married Susan Kay Green on January 31, 1976, in Boonville.

Daniel served his country honorably in the US Army. He enjoyed fishing, taking walks, and having fish fries with his family and friends. He worked for the Butternut Bread Factory for 28 years.

Daniel is survived by his sons Jonathan Fenton and his wife Jacquilin of Blackwater, and Thomas James Fenton of New Franklin; daughter Brandi New and husband Brandon of Blackwater; three brothers; one sister; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Susan, and two brothers.

Memorial services will be 11:30 AM Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Old Lamine Church of Christ with burial immediately following in the Old Lamine Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Old Lamine Church of Christ.

Arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home, Pilot Grove, MO.
