Cora "Goldie" A. Munsterman

Cora A. "Goldie" Munsterman, age 86, a lifelong resident of Stover, passed away early Saturday morning, December 15, 2007, at her home.
She was born June 12, 1921, in Morgan County, a daughter of Charles and Lena Priesmeyer Wessel. Mrs. Munsterman married Wilbert Munsterman on May 29, 1937, in Pettis County, and he preceded her in death August 14, 1977.
She was baptized July 17, 1921, and confirmed April 18, 1935, at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Pyrmont. The confirmation verse chosen was Hebrews 12:1, "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us."
She was a homemaker, busy raising her two children. She enjoyed fishing and hunting.
She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Stover.
Survivors include her companion of 27 years, David Sumners of the home; one son, Ronnie E. Munsterman, Sr., and companion Ariella Riggs of Stover; a son-in-law, Butch McGinnis of Versailles; one brother, Henry Wessel of Stover; three grandchildren, Ronald E. Munsterman, Jr., Jeremiah Lee Munsterman and Tiffany Ranee Munsterman all of Stover; three great grandchildren, Ryan Lee, Chastin and Alec Michael, also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Mary McGinnis, one brother, Herman Wessel and two sisters, Clara Dickey and Lorena Holtzen.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, December 18, at the Christ Lutheran Church in Stover with Pastor John Kiehl officiating. Burial will be in the Stover Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Monday, December 17, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with a prayer service at 5:30 P.M.
