Connie Ann Schubert

September 7, 1951 — December 3, 2016

Mrs. Connie Ann Schubert, daughter of the late Wesley Leon Dunn and Verna Ruth McCallum, was born September 7, 1951, in Mesa, Arizona. At an early age, she professed her undying love for Jesus Christ. She served a ministry of service fervently, never swaying from the purpose in which she was called.

Mrs. Schubert was a talented artist, musician and teacher who exemplified Christ's love by putting the needs of others before hers. As a result of her beautifully generous spirit, she was loved by all who were lucky enough to have known her. Mrs. Schubert was taken quietly by her Father in Heaven, on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Schubert, as well as brothers, Wesley Dunn, Steve Dunn, Larry Dunn and Mike Dunn.

Her beautiful life will be forever cherished and survived by her children: Joshua Winckler; Jonathan Winckler and his spouse, Carolyn Winckler; Jacob Winckler and his spouse, April Winckler; and daughter, Deborah Santos. She is also survived by her brother, Lonnie Dunn, and his spouse, Sally Dunn; sisters, Debbie Dunn; Susan Rickard and her spouse, Robert Rickard; and Pamela Munoz; nine grandchildren: Stephanie Carter, Tristan Winckler, Naomi Winckler, Addie Winckler, Cooper Mullinax, Brooke Winckler, Sarah Winckler, Emily Winckler and Katey Winckler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held in her honor on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at Berrendo Baptist Church, with Brother Troy Grant officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Enloe Cemetery.
