Connie Polm, 91, of Stover, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover.
She was born on July 27, 1934, in Moore, Oklahoma, the oldest daughter of Tony and Sylvia (Woods) Davidson. Connie grew up with a strong sense of family that would remain central throughout her life.
In 1958, she was united in marriage to Richard Polm in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on January 18, 1985. Together, they shared many years of marriage and built a life grounded in dedication and perseverance.
Connie spent much of her working life helping her family operate their market in McFarland, California, where she was known for her kindness and strong work ethic. She later continued her career at Palace Market in California, from which she eventually retired.
Following her retirement, Connie relocated to the Stover area to be closer to family and to enjoy a quieter pace of life. She attended Family Worship Center in Versailles, where her faith remained an important part of her life.
In her free time, Connie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed taking walks, fishing, and occasionally trying her luck at the casino. She especially loved listening to Elvis Presley, whose music brought her great happiness over the years.
Survivors include one son, David Polm (Connie) of Bakersfield, CA; one daughter, Lillian Pogue (Cecil) of Stover, MO; six siblings, Donald, Anthony, Lonnie, Norma, Helen, and Karen; and four grandchildren, Brian, Tassie, Angela, and Jessica; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to both of her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by two siblings, Austin, and Linda.
A Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Donor's Choice.
