Cletus Andrew Hirschvogel

Cletus Andrew Hirschvogel, 76, of Jefferson City, died Friday, November 2, 2007, at his home.
He was born September 23, 1931, in Russellville, the only child of Mathias Frederick and Anna Emma Theroff Hirschvogel.
On May 26, 1951, in Russellville, he married Betty Wall and she survives at their home.
Cletus at one time worked for Sheriff's Truck Lines and House of Bargains. He retired from the State of Missouri Office of Administration after 38 ½ years of employment. Following his retirement he worked at Larry's Honda, Regional West Fire Protection District and most recently Knapheide, retiring in January of this year due to his health.
Cletus was baptized in October of 1931, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville. He was a charter member of the former Apache Flats Lions Club, voted a lifetime member of the Apache Flats and St. Martins Business Association and was a past member of the Centertown school board, at one time serving as President.
He stayed busy restoring old cars and attending auctions.
In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by one son, Lanny Hirschvogel of Tuscumbia; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Terry and Clifford Miller of Centertown; Peggy Hart of Olathe, Kansas and Linda and Steve Dappen of Holts Summit; six grandchildren, Erin Stuckenschneider and husband Doug, Mandy Miller and fiancé Jason Hamburg, Missi Gaggens, Andrew Hart and fiancee Ashley Ultican, Adam Gaggens and Matt Miller, six great grandchildren, Megan Ross, Ethan Ross, Mikayla Gaggens, Emma Stuckenschneider, Riley Stuckenschneider and Haylie Gaggens, one step great-grandson, Anthony Spears, his beloved dog, Snickers, also other relatives and many friends.
Cletus was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, Joe Hart and his dog Ladybug.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, November 5, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville with Rev. Tony Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Enloe Cemetery west of Russellville.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday, November 4, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Community Hospices of America, 2418 Hyde Park Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
