Cheryl Joy Henry

Cheryl Joy "Cheri" Henry, age 63, of Stover, passed away suddenly Friday evening, December 14, 2007, at her home.
She was born October 20, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois a daughter of Ivar and Elna Johnson Helm. She worked as a health care provider for brain injury victims at Bridges in Sedalia. Cheri, was founder and co-owned and operated Haw Creek Therapeutic Center, Inc. in Stover with her companion Walter Kowalkowski. She enjoyed being on her farm west of Stover.
Survivors include her companion, Walter Kowalkowski of the home; two sons, Thomas Henry and Tim Henry of Chicago; one daughter, Tracy Henry of Chicago; one brother, Dennis Helm and wife Carol of Rockford, Illinois; and four grandchildren, Victoria, Valerie, Madison and Griffin.
A memorial service, with a time for sharing, will be 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 19, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
