Charles Howard Niemeyer

Charles Howard Niemeyer, 53 of St. John, MO, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at SSM Health DePaul Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born March 7, 1967 in Hardin, IL, a son of Franklin Dale “John” and Doris Jean (Summerville) Niemeyer. On May 24, 1995 in St. Louis, MO, he married Shelly McNeal who survives of the home.

Charles enjoyed watching movies, playing games and being on the internet, listening to music, playing cards especially pinochle and spades. He also liked fast classic muscle cars, cooking, playing board games with his family and just spending as much time with family as he could. In his younger years Charles liked to go hunting with friends, playing pool and he will be remembered for having the knack to fix just about anything.

Survivors include his wife Shelly of 25 years; two children, Charles Alexander Niemeyer, Andrew William Niemeyer both of St. Louis, MO; two siblings, Dawn Niemeyer Crump and Darin Niemeyer.

Charles was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the funeral home.

Charles will be buried at the Olive Branch Cemetery at a later date.
