Charles Andrew "Andy" Holloway

Charles Andrew "Andy" Holloway, age 65, of Tipton, MO, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at his home following a recent lung cancer diagnosis.

Andy was born in Kansas City, MO, on November 22, 1958, to Lloyd Edward and Mary Lee (Barbour) Holloway, who preceded him in death.

On April 23, 1983, he married Rebecca "Becky" Ann Williamson in California, MO.

Andy attended Hickman High School in Kansas City. Over the years, he worked at Stride Rite Shoe, Burger’s Smokehouse, Cargill, Delta USA, RR Donnelly, and as a meat cutter in Boonville and California. He retired in 2012 when he became disabled due to Parkinson’s Disease. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and cards, listening to classic rock music, and tinkering in his garage. In recent years he enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows.

In addition to his wife Becky, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lexie Rae and Korey Sheets of Tipton; four grandchildren, Kayson Pierce, Koralee Rae, Kambree Jo, and Kynli Rose; two brothers, Floyd Lee Holloway and his wife Dianne, and Ronald Edward Holloway and his wife Nicole; and one sister, Barbara Ann Snider, all of Raymore, MO.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Sue Bray, and his brother, Lloyd Ray Holloway.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Andy’s life at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tipton with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., followed by visitation until 10:45 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., with Father Anthony Viviano officiating. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Tipton.

Pallbearers will be Scott Williamson, Korey Sheets, Ron Holloway, Chase Holloway, Aaron Fassler, and Edward Wiecken.

The family suggests memorials be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church or St. Andrew Catholic School.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home, Tipton, MO.
