Charles "Chuck" Bernard Felten

Charles "Chuck" Bernard Felten, 98, of Pilot Grove, Missouri passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove.

Charles was born July 19, 1920 to Bertram Andrew and Florence (Kraus) Felten in Clear Creek, Missouri. He served in the US Army during World War II. In 1944 Charles married Mary Georgia Widel at St. Martins' Catholic Church in Martinsville, Missouri. They lived their entire life on their Buffalo Prairie farm.

Charles was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church, Clear Creek; the Clear Creek Knights of Columbus #2261 and Boonville 4th degree #2373. He was also a member of the Pilot Grove Lions Club and the American Legion. He served on numerous boards throughout the community.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife Georgia and his son Danny Ray Felten.

He is survived by son David Felten and his wife Marilyn of Pilot Grove; daughter Darlene Bradshaw and her husband Brent of Moberly; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at St. John's Catholic Church, Clear Creek with burial following in the St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 16th from 5:30 PM to 8 PM at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove with Rosary beginning at 5:00.
