Charlene Ruth Krull

Charlene Ruth Krull, age 77, of Stover, died Friday, April 11, 2008, at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover.
She was born June 1, 1930, in Stover, a daughter of Charles J. and Nora Kueck Fajen. She was baptized in 1930, and confirmed April 18, 1943, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Stover. On July 20, 1947, in Warsaw, she married Richard T. Krull and he preceded her in death January 14, 2003.
She was a 1947 graduate of Stover High School. Charlene worked for the Fajen and Blair Gunstock Factory in Stover until 1978. She worked at Smithson, Inc. from 1978 until 1980, and then painted clock dials until her retirement in 1992.
She was a member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Stover and had sung in the church choir.
She is survived by two daughters, Emma Jeanne Zurmiller of Syracuse and Vicki Shackelford and husband Joe of Republic; a brother-in-law, Glenn Blair of Stover; five grandchildren, Tom Zurmiller and wife Dawn of Syracuse; Scott Shackelford of Topeka, Kansas; Kimberly Kellar and husband Ken of Knob Noster; Rachelle Santhuff and husband Chris of Republic and Alison Abella and husband Brian of Reno, Nevada; seven great grandchildren, Emma and Jordan Zurmiller, Nickolas and Randy Kellar, Shelby and Remington Santhuff and McKenzie Abella, one niece, Janice Hall of Kansas City; also other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Charlene was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Melva Blair and Dr. Kathleen Fajen.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 16, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stover with Pastor Martin Hoyer officiating. Interment will in St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery in Stover.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 16, at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Pauls Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover.
