Cathleen Marie (Cathie) Brunjes

Cathleen Marie (Cathie) Brunjes, age 66 passed away December 31, 2016 at her home.

She was born August 13, 1950 in Washington, DC to Jess and Rose Mary ( Bolin) Davis. On July 6, 1979 in Warrensburg Missouri she was united in marriage to William (Bill) Brunjes, who survives at the home.

She attended Raytown High School

Cathie worked at Unitog in Warrensburg and later was self employed as a house cleaner in Warrensburg and Kansas City.

Cathie was always tending to her house, she never let her fibromyalgia and other medical problems keep her from having an immaculately kept house. She enjoyed watching old movies and trips to the Casino when she could. Cathie and Bill adopted a dog named “Tuff”.  Cathie and Tuff were very close and he was a great comfort to her.

In addition to her husband of thirty-seven years, Bill, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Tracy and Jessica Parks of Kirksville; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Jess and Cloene Davis of Blue Springs and Tim and Angie Davis of Springdale Arkansas; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Terry Francis of Kearney; one grandson, Elijah Parks, and several nieces and nephews. Other survivors include; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Linda Brunjes of  Ofallon; sister-in-law,  Neidth Taylor and partner Donnie Croy, of Gravois Mills, sister-in-law Neva Coester and partner Sal Sepulveda of Mesa Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Per her request, she was cremated and private family graveside services will be held on January 12, 2017 at the Stover Cemetery.
