Bunney E. Marriott

Bunney E. Marriott, age 87, of Stover, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015, at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover.
He was born April 8, 1928, in Stover, a son of Wayne and Mary Hibdon Marriott. He married Ellis Lee Johnson, and to this union three children were born.
He was a lifelong cattleman, who enjoyed working with his horses, donkeys and various other farm animals.
For many years he was employed with Howard Construction in Sedalia, working on construction projects throughout Missouri.
He was an avid outdoorsman who spent many hours fishing, hunting and running his hounds. Bunney was a fiddle player, passing his love of music to his son and grandson. He also enjoyed making a good trade and drinking coffee with his buddies.
For several years he attended the Big Rock Church near Barnett.
Survivors include four children and their spouses, Lucille and Harry Beckmann of Stover; Tina and Bill Williams of Gravois Mills; Junior and Cathy Marriott of Ava, and Latisha Van Dyke of Eldon; two sisters, Shirley Olds of Emma and Angeline "Angie" Lohse of Carbondale, Kansas; fifteen grandchildren, Shila, Shannon, Cassie, Kala, Austin, Heather, Cody, Terry, Tanner, Preston, Jody, Tyler, Trenton, Shawn, and Christopher, seventeen great grandchildren, Kahlin, Lakota, Kyler, Jestin, Brady, Bo, Allison, Allan, Cheyanne, Stormie, Rayven, Addison, Owen, Evan, Gabe, Shianne, and Wyatt, two great-great grandchildren, Spencer and Cadence, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bunney was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ellis Lee Marriott, seven siblings, Wilma Wilson, O.L. Marriott, Cloetta "Toots" Burnett, Coy Marriott, Frances "Frankie" Johnson, Willa Mae Wilson, and Larry Marriott, and one grandson, Bryant,
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with Rev. Larry Marriott officiating. Interment will be in the Stover Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8 at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bunney Marriott Memorial Fund.
