Brian Scott Marcum, age 57 of Tipton, Missouri died early Thursday, December 28, 2017 at home. Brian was a lifelong resident of Tipton,

One of four sons of Deo V. and Marilynn M. Marcum, Brian was born July 27, 1960. Brian was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Tipton. He graduated from Tipton High School in 1978 and later attended Linn Tech for a 2 year course where he was proud to be on the Dean's list. Brian was an accomplished electrician and carpenter.

Brian was at home in the woods and had a special love of all animals, from opposums to dogs, he liked them all. Another one of his favorite activities was golf. He played everyday he could.

Brian S. Marcum was preceded in death by his mother, Marilynn M. Marcum who passed away September 28, 2017, three months ago, to the day, and his brother Brent Marcum.

Those surviving Brian are his father Deo Van Marcum of the home; brothers Mark Marcum and his wife Rhonda of Natalia, Texas and Keith Marcum of Tipton; nieces Rhea Marcum of Sedalia, Tabitha Essig and Ashley Weeks both of Aledo, Illinois; several great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton, Missouri with inurnment immediately following at St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery.
