Brenda J. Schultz

Brenda J. Schultz, 67, of Versailles, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Lake Regional Hospital.

She was born November 14, 1955, in Wichita, KS, daughter of Otis Irving and Benita Marie (Kellum) Knight.

On October 10, 1992, at the Versailles Christian Church, she was united in marriage to Allen "Dutch" Schultz, who preceded her in death on September 20, 2020.

Brenda was a 1974 graduate of Morgan County R-1 High School. She was a member of Versailles Christian Church.

She always had a smile and time for others. She was always happy, no matter what she faced in life, and was a joy to be around. She enjoyed crocheting and making blankets, going to concerts, and loved her dogs, especially Little Wheeler.

Surviving are siblings: Larry E. and Linda Knight of Tipton; Beverly M. Tannehill of Warsaw; Janet R. and David Goodwin of Camdenton; and Michael A. and Jenny Knight of Stover; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother-in-law, Carl Tannehill.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Versailles Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be her family and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Spina Bifida Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
