Brenda Kay Dollison

Brenda Kay Dollison, age 73, of Tipton, MO, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2024, at Capital Region Hospital in Jefferson City, MO.

Brenda was born on August 21, 1951, in Versailles, MO, to Reno and Alice (Crenshaw) Brunjes, who preceded her in death. She married the love of her life, Randy Dollison, on October 13, 1978, in Kansas City, Kansas.

Brenda's life was marked by her love for family and music. A fan of 1970s classic rock, she found joy in concerts during her early years. At home, she was happiest cooking for her family. She was known for her famous meatloaf and was especially loved by her grandchildren for making the best cream of wheat. Family gatherings brought her great joy, and she cherished being surrounded by her loved ones.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Randy Dollison of Tipton; her daughter, Brandy Dollison (Danny Stanley) of Aurora, MO; her sister, Kathy Hunter (Bob) of North Carolina; her brother, Mark Brunjes of Stover, MO; two beloved grandchildren, Kiersten Fullen (Alec) of Ludowici, GA and RJ Craig of Aurora, MO; one great-granddaughter, Emeryn "Emmy" Fullen, and a second great-grandchild expected soon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Brunjes.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Tipton, MO, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Jared Rivera.

Memorial contributions may be made in Brenda's honor to First Baptist Church of Tipton.
