Brady Dealno Jaco, 77, of Otterville, changed his permanent address on Saturday, April 15, 2023 and became a citizen of heaven.
He was born April 8, 1946, in Gravelton, MO, to Junior Jake and Dorothy Lou (Skaggs) Jaco. On a hot day on July 24, 1976, at Pastor Dillon's house in Smithton, he married Pamela Cave. Guests enjoyed windmill cookies and punch after the wedding.
Brady is survived by his wife, Pam, of the home; three daughters, Shelbi (Rustin) Saltsgaver and Kyla Jaco, all of Otterville and Casey (Richard) Vasquez, of Sedalia; ten grandchildren, Spencer Saltsgaver, Noah Saltsgaver, Connor Jaco-Townsend, Corbin Jaco-Woodall, Harper Porterfield, Hudson Porterfield, Lucas (Faith Fassler) Dillon, Asher Dillon, Brady Vasquez and Morgan Vasquez; siblings Oscar (Brenda) Jaco and Wilma Jaco, all of Otterville, and Donna Kay Wilfong, of Sedalia; a brother-in-law, Robert Hardey, of Otterville; many nieces, nephews; loving friends; and his "mean ass" dog and best friend, Luna the Lunatic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior Jake Jaco and Dorothy Lou Wilfong; four sisters, the triplets, Nina Marlow, Tina Barrett, Ina Goldey and Brenda Sims; and a sister-in-law, Karen Hardey.
Brady attended Kindergarten through 8th grade in Gravelton, then onto Greenville High School where he graduated in 1963.
He loved his pet duck, "Quackers", meeting his buddies at Hardee's for breakfast, cutting wood for winter, hunting, fishing, cooking huge meals for family and friends, and listening to bluegrass music at max volume.
Brady's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 30, 2023, at First Baptist Church, Otterville followed by visitation and celebration of Brady's life until 6:00 pm in the church fellowship hall.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kays Harrison, Larry Arnold, James and Charlotte Morrison, L.R. Oehrke, Dave Petree, Ronnie and Marsha Dowdy, Larland Mayfield, Dave "Hutch" Hutchison and Mary Etta Streeter.
Arrangements are under the direction of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home.
