Bonnie Sue (Myers) Hibdon

Bonnie Sue Hibdon, 70, of Syracuse, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at her home.

She was born November 11, 1951, in Sedalia, MO, daughter of Clyde Francis and Erma LaVera “Boob” (Worthley) Myers of Florence, MO.

Bonnie graduated from Stover High School in 1969, and was united in marriage on April 18, 1970, to Loren Wray Hibdon, who survives of the home.

Bonnie enjoyed gardening and working outside. She put out a big garden each year. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Bonnie worked in manufacturing at the Stride Rite Shoe Company. She later worked as a machine boot and shoe fancy stitcher at Orvis Gokey for 27 years and then with Boyt Harness Company for two years, until her retirement. She enjoyed her work and coworkers very much. Bonnie was a member of the Florence United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, Wray, survivors include her mother, Erma LaVera “Boob” Myers; son, Ryan Lee Hibdon (Taylor) and her daughter, Lauren Marie Hibdon (Nathan); and four grandchildren, Dayton Doyel, Hadleigh Ogle, Briar Hibdon, and Karsyn Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Francis Myers and her brother Jerry Calvin Myers.

Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 17, 2022, at Florence United Methodist Cemetery with Peggy Richardson, officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Hibdon, Curt Oldham, Carl Hibdon, Dayton Doyel, Briar Hibdon, and Colin Hibdon.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Florence United Methodist Cemetery.
